An experienced hotelier, Jaime brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience to head the entrally-located hotel with 427 rooms, apartments and suites.
Jakarta – AccorHotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaime Faus as General Manager of Pullman Jakarta Indonesia in Jakarta, the vibrant and cosmopolitan capital city of Indonesia. Jaime, who enjoyed a successful 17 years with AccorHotels, was most recently the Vice President of Operations AccorHotels in London overseeing 13 hotels. Originally from Ibiza, Spain, has worked in many Central & Eastern European countries bringing a wealth of international hospitality experience.
Jaime started his hospitality career in food and beverage management earning increasingly senior roles in catering, sales and operations management. He took on his first General Manager position in 2008 for Accorhotels. In 2010 moved to Moscow to take the helm at the Novotel Moscow City Centre, before returning to London to successfully introduce the Pullman brand and lead the the award-winning Pullman London St. Pancras. He has a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Brighton in the UK and Master degree from Cornell University.
At Pullman Jakarta Indonesia, Jaime aims to build on the modern hotel’s already high reputation as a cosmopolitan brand with its finger on the city’s pulse. “I’m all for exceeding customer expectations and motivating staff so they feel empowered to achieve their highest potential. That makes a successful hotel,” said Jaime. As this is Jaime’s first appointment in Indonesia, he is eager to embrace new experiences by exploring the city, travelling within Indonesia, discovering authentic local cuisine, and most importantly, learning about the people and the various cultures. “I enjoy meeting meeting people and discovering new cultures,” explains Jaime. On off days, he enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his young family.
