Accor introduces the first MICE-dedicated Novotel to Thailand

Accor, the leading international operator of hotels in Asia Pacific and Thailand, announces the opening of Novotel Bangkok IMPACT, the first Accor hotel in Thailand dedicated to the meetings and events market.

This newly built hotel with 380 guest rooms and suites has been incorporated into the 140,000sqm IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Centre complex, which provides facilities and services for some of Asia’s largest events. The PTT Open Tennis tournament, the International Motor Expo 2010 and Motor Show 2011 have all been held here.

Paul Stevens, Director of Operations – Accor Thailand says “As one of Thailand’s most recognised hotel brands, Novotel Bangkok IMPACT’s location within the IMPACT complex will provide ‘a home away from home’ for business and events travellers visiting the complex.”

This 10-storey hotel features modern architecture and the latest design of Novotel’s new generation guest rooms. Facilities include state-of-the-art meeting facilities for small-to-medium gatherings, Novotel’s signature fitness centre and spa, “In Balance”, a rooftop lounge and two restaurants – all day international cuisine, The Square, and Prego, the best Italian restaurant in the area.

“Although most guests are expected to business travellers attending events held at IMPACT, we also anticipate welcoming fans of sporting events and concerts such as the Kylie Minogue Aphrodite Tour Concert held last weekend” says David Baldwin, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok IMPACT.

Novotel Bangkok IMPACT is located within the IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Centre complex, 30-minutes by car from downtown Bangkok and one hour from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
