The Embassy of Egypt has denied that a contract was signed between the embassy and BLS International Services following the latter’s public claim that it had become the ‘preferred visa outsourcing partner’ for the Egyptian embassy in India.

he Embassy of Egypt said in a statement to ET that it would like to clarify that the BLS International’s claim was ‘incorrect’ and ‘misleading’ as no contract had been signed between the Embassy of Egypt in India and BLS International Services for visa outsourcing services. The embassy further said such incorrect news may create inconveniences to the embassy and that it negatively affects the process of visa issuance to Indian citizens willing to visit Egypt.

BLS International Services announced the signing of a contract with the Egyptian Embassy in India in a press release on Tuesday.
