Incentives for fully-vaccinated people.
Current social distancing levels in South Korea (metropolitan area level 4, regional area level 3) will be extended to October 3. However, restaurants can operate until 22:00 and fully vaccinated people will be exempt from the count for private gatherings.
From this change, private gatherings in areas at level 4 can have up to 6 people including fully vaccinated people. However, there must be 2 or more fully vaccinated people before 18:00 and 4 or more after 18:00.
Private gatherings in areas at level 3 can have up to 8 people and 4 must be fully vaccinated.
Aside from these changes, Jeju Island will maintain level 4 until September 22, and Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do until September 12.
