In view of the Government’s announcement that large-scale events will be cancelled for 14 days from 7 January, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) announced that the “Hong Kong Cyclothon”, originally scheduled on 16 January, will be cancelled. The HKTB will inform the participants of the latest arrangements.
The biggest cycling event in Hong Kong typically attracts thousands of professional and amateur cyclists from around the world (but only Hong Kong this year), all eager to take a range of challenging routes through our scenic city. The 50 km race offers the longest and most difficult route, with both individual riders and cycling teams taking part.
The HKTB will closely monitor the situation and decide on a future event date.
