FCM Meetings & Events appoints JingWen Wong for strategic growth in Southeast Asia and Greater China, enhancing client experiences.
FCM Meetings & Events, a flagship division of the Flight Centre Travel Group, recently announced a global expansion of the business with Manpreet Bindra leading FCM Meetings & Events in Asia.
In his new capacity, he has appointed JingWen Wong as the new Meetings & Events Leader in Southeast Asia and Greater China. Wong has been in the travel industry for the last seven years with notable companies such as Singapore Airlines, before moving to FCM Travel Asia.
“FCM Meetings & Events has a proven track record in curating and delivering memorable experiences for our customers globally. With the combination of more than a decade of experience and technology, we are continuously challenging ourselves and elevating our partnerships with our clients and the travel industry,” said Wong.
“I am excited to lead the strategic direction of FCM Meetings & Events in Southeast Asia and Greater China. We have been managing conferences, retreats as well as incentive trips and are excited to deliver more innovative and immersive experiences for our clients,” added Wong.

“With the China-Singapore 30-day mutual visa exemption in effect, and flights between the two markets having almost recovered to the pre-pandemic level. We are getting multiple enquiries from our clients who are interested in visiting Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. With local teams established in both Singapore and China, I am confident to revive meetings and reimagine corporate event management in these markets,” said Wong.
George, in his capacity as an intern, diligently oversees the flow of news, assists in the publication of content, and delves into the strategies of social media distribution. He is currently pursuing his studies in Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
