Vietnam’s tourism authority plans extensive global promotion, including international fairs, roadshows, and cultural festivals in key markets.
As planned, Vietnam will attend 03 major international tourism fairs including WTM London, CITM China, ASEAN – China; 06 roadshow programs to introduce Vietnamese tourism in North America, Australia, China, Europe, ASEAN, and India; 03 Vietnamese tourism – culture festivals in Tokyo, Kanagawa (Japan) and Korea; 10 Famtrip and Presstrip groups from China, Japan, Korea, ASEAN, India, Australia, America, Europe, and Taiwan (China).
In particular, the tourism promotion program combined with cinema scheduled to be held in Los Angeles, USA, will take place in the third quarter of 2024 with the exhibition on Vietnamese cinema and tourism and a conference to introduce Vietnam’s cinema context and policies towards international cinema activities.
In addition, the tourism industry will also focus on promoting activities of the Visit Vietnam Year – Dien Bien 2024; Communication and promotion on television and newspapers; promoting CNN; preparing to organize the UN Tourism Conference on rural tourism; organizing the Program “Tourism, Cinema and Sports – Proud of Vietnamese identity”, promotion through social media.
Along with that are 9 projects to promote inter-regional and inter-local tourism and 10 projects to support market research and tourism product development.
