The 2006 Event Planning Awards have been issued by the Corporate Events Guide. The Corporate Events Guide is New Zealand’s leading guide to event planning which is distributed biannually to over 30,000 businesses and event organisers. These awards honor New Zealand companies who excel in the industry of event facilities and management.

This is the first year the Corporate Events Guide has issued the awards. They were developed to recognize the exceptional efforts from the industry leaders throughout the previous 12 months. These awards cover all aspects of event planning from Convention Centres to Entertainment companies.

The expertise comes from touring over 800 venues and companies that support the Event Planning Industry. After visiting each company and experiencing them first hand we survey event organisers who have held events at the various venues and record their individual responses. The accumulative score is marked down with companies evaluated on everything from location, facilities, service received and ambience. This process gives us the most accurate picture the industry leaders.
