Bangkok’s latest SEEN Restaurant & Bar is a sensual playground of cuisine and cocktails rising above the Chao Phraya River.

Bangkok, Thailand - Bangkok’s latest SEEN Restaurant & Bar is a sensual playground of cuisine and cocktails rising above the Chao Phraya River. With unrivalled skyline views, bold flavours, fantastical mixology and sultry beats, SEEN, located on the top floor of Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel, is the place to sin, be seen and escape from it all, 26 floors above the City of Angels.

Designed by M&J London, the rooftop restaurant and lounge with views of Bangkok’s glittering cityscape taking centre stage is a mixture of modern-lux-meets-art deco watering hole, comprising of indoor-outdoor spaces, seating up to 185 guests. Executive Chef Alexandre Castaldi whips up dishes inspired by global cuisine using locally sourced, organic produce. The refined menu offers an epicurean tour with artisanal tapas, a sushi bar and signature dishes including truffled lobster salad and prime tomahawk steaks. Young Castaldi’s career has seen a meteoric rise from Michelin-starred Parisian haunts to Asia’s hottest dining establishments.

In the main bar, bold interiors, a flowing form and a starry surface underfoot create a dreamlike and intimate setting. Award-winning Head Mixologist Mochammad Fadli curates a wide range of cocktails, wines and Champagnes. Creative cocktails are served with a contemporary Thai twists such as the Sin to be Seen long drink, blended with jackfruit infused plantation rum. Having led award-winning bars from Palmer & Co. in Sydney to 1515 West in Shanghai, Mochammad is a regular on the awards circuit and his concoctions have been recognised by the industry’s leading publications.

In the rooftop garden, plush daybeds overlook the Chao Phraya and hypnotic beats set the pulse, spun by a roster of jet-setting DJs selected by Music Director, Scotty B. Originally from the UK and a regular at the Ministry of Sound, Scotty B is a master of Nu-disco, soulful house and tech. 

For exclusive events and functions, the more intimate and private 27th floor sky bar is accessed by a private glass lift opening to uninterrupted skyline views for up to 64 guests. The iconic Avani+ Bangkok rooftop infinity pool also plays hosts to stylish pool parties. 
Originating in Sao Paolo, SEEN is the vision of Olivier da Costa, one of Portugal’s most successful chefpreneurs and social scene doyen. Opening a year after its Lisbon based sister, da Costa’s, creations draw inspiration from local flavours and ingredients, and blend them with the finest cuisines from around the world. 

SEEN is open daily 6.00 pm – 1.00 am.
