Located at the center of the Songtsam Tea Horse Road route, all 32 guest rooms have a scenic view of the Guxiang Lake which is surrounded by snow mountains and forests. Also known as the “Switzerland of Tibet,” Bome is surrounded by the Yarlung Tsangpo River, snow-capped mountains, and a dense forest. The hotel was built taking into consideration the local terrain and the design of the building reflects a small village that is integrated into the mountain.
Songtsam Lodge Laigu
Laigu village sits 3,962 meters (13,000 feet) above sea level, surrounded by glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Its geographical location is at the center of Songtsam’s Yunnan-Tibet route, making it an ideal stopover. The Laigu lodge is an architectural masterpiece that highlights contemporary and traditional Tibet traditions, allowing visitors to be immersed into the local culture during their stay.
Songtsam Lodge Namcha Barwa
An all-suite property with 33 guest rooms with terraces facing the dramatic view of the Namcha Barwa Mountain range. Each guest can experience the feeling that they are being embraced by the famous mountain range, the 15th highest mountain in the world. Inside the lodge is a two-story book bar, where guests can enjoy an ideal reading space, drink tea, all in full view of Namcha Barwa. In the evening, guests can view a documentary about glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Outside the Lodge, the architects created three reflecting pools, which capture the mesmerizing snow peaks of Namcha Barwa, the white clouds, and a galaxy of stars in the night sky.
