Bangkok set to host the monumental SIAM Songkran Music Festival 2024, showcasing a stellar lineup of global DJs and immersive Thai cultural experiences.
BANGKOK, THAILAND – The SIAM Songkran Music Festival, a hallmark of Thailand‘s vibrant Thai New Year celebrations, is poised for its grand return from April 12th to 15th, 2024, at Bangkok’s RCA CENTRAL PARK. This year, the festival, organized by One Asia Ventures, promises an even grander spectacle by hosting over 30 world-renowned DJs, including MARTIN GARRIX, ZEDD, STEVE AOKI, and TIESTO, setting the stage for a global music phenomenon.
With a “Celestial Odyssey” theme, the festival transforms RCA CENTRAL PARK into a sprawling dance haven, promising an immersive journey under the stars. A collaboration with Monday on December (MOD) and ‘Live Legends’ from the Netherlands ensures a world-class stage design and performances, backed by a 200 million baht investment for unmatched audiovisual experiences. A unique 360-degree water splash system promises to keep the crowd cool, enhancing the traditional Songkran spirit with a modern twist.
The festival’s diverse lineup spans various genres, featuring a mix of headliners, special guests, and international support acts, many making their Thailand debut. Beyond the music, SIAM Songkran 2024 celebrates Thai culture with traditional performances, Muay Thai exhibitions, and street food, all aligned with global conservation efforts.
At the heart of the festival is the aim to showcase Thailand’s rich cultural heritage on a global stage, with activities reflecting the nation’s art, tradition, and commitment to environmental sustainability. The festival also introduces the Art Toy: SIAM Songkran “ONGTHEP,” blending Thai cultural symbols with art, symbolizing the fusion of tradition and contemporary artistry.
