A larger percentage of consumers in Asia are browsing and transacting on the web from their mobile phones

Asia travel site sees mobile users more than double.

THAILAND – The number of Asia travellers using their mobile phones to look for discounted hotel deals has more than doubled in the 12 months to August 2012.

According to AsiaWebDirect.com, the Asia hotel specialists, mobiletraffic to their websites has grown from 8.5% in August 2011 to almost 20% in August 2012.
