First "Thai- French Round Table Discussion, How to Internationalize Your Shows in Emerging ASEAN Market" aims at promoting Thailand as a gateway for emerging ASEAN market among French organizers.
BANGKOK – Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau recently organized in Paris “Thai- French Round Table Discussion, How to Internationalize Your Shows in Emerging ASEAN Market” in collaboration with Promosalons Thailand, a marketing organization dedicated to the promotion of international trade exhibitions on behalf of French trade show organizers, and ASEAN Coordinator.
This is the very first business forum type of activity organized by TCEB’s Exhibitions Department in France. It aims at promoting Thailand as a gateway for emerging ASEAN market among French organizers. The roundtable explores on how Thailand’s exhibition platform can help French businessmen extend their reach in ASEAN and be prepared for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
The focus group meeting was hosted by Mrs. Supawan Teerarat, Exhibitions Director of Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and was honorable by Mr. Suphorn Pholmani, Minister of Royal Thai Embassy, Paris to give his welcome remark. 8 leading organizers including Comexposium, JEC Group, and GL Events Exhibitions; for instance were showed up at the event. Additionally, Mrs. Jinchana Osottanakorn, Director of Thailand Board of Investment Paris Office, and Ms. Cynthia Rugulski, Chef de Service, UBI France had been the guest speakers who share the information of investment opportunities in Thailand and how the explore business opportunities in ASEAN markets, respectively.
