The organisers of the 14th IT&CMA and 9th CTW Asia-Pacific 2006 will be treating delegates to a plethora of incentives as befitting the theme of “Pure Magic! A World of Incentives” at Asia-Pacific’s premier MICE and Corporate Travel exhibition and conference. Delegates of this annual Doublebill event, (two shows – IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific – at one location), will be the first international MICE group to arrive at the all-new Suvarnabhumi International Airport and transfers to Pattaya will be shortened by about an hour. Altogether, more than 1,600 trade professionals worldwide are expected to attend the Doublebill event from 10 – 12 October 2006.

Carrots Keynote to Kick Off ‘Pure Magic!’ Doublebill Event

Motivational speaker Chester Elton will kick off IT&CMA and CTW 2006 on 10 October 2006 with a dynamic, humorous and compelling Keynote on “Becoming a 24-Carrot Leader”. Elton is one of the world’s most eminent speakers on employee motivation. Co-author of best-seller Managing with Carrots, Elton also wrote the critically acclaimed business book The 24-Carrot Manager with Adrian Gostick. Elton’s keynote at IT&CMA and CTW 2006 is expected to bring a new perspective to MICE planners and business travel executives on how to create powerful bonding recognition experiences.

Line Up of Social Events – Food! Fun! Friends!

On 10 October 2006, media representatives from 22 Official and Supporting Publications from around the world will meet IT&CMA and CTW delegates in an informal newly launched ’Meet-the-Press Luncheon‘. Later that evening, host country Thailand will lay the red carpet with a ’Welcome to the Siamese Paradise‘ Opening Ceremony, Cocktail and Dinner. Hosted by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, the evening promises an extravanganza of Thai cuisine, mesmerising entertainment and spectacular fireworks. For the second year, the Hong Kong Tourism Board will put up a scintillating show to promote Inspirational Hong Kong at a luncheon on 11 October 2006. In the evening, TTG Asia will co-host with Siam City Hotel, Bangkok to stage a ’Spectacular Siam‘ dinner party. The event will present Thailand’s exuberant Queen of Jazz, Ms Kamala Sukosol, with her powerful and energetic rendition of Jazz, Pop and Broadway favourites at the Siam Bayshore Resort & Spa, Pattaya.

On the last day (12 October 2006), a lunch will be hosted by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau and Royal Cliff Beach Resort. In the evening, a prestigious event equivalent to the ‘Oscars’ of the travel industry will set the mood for the grand finale for IT&CMA and CTW 2006. Outstanding professionals and organisations in the Asia-Pacific travel industry will be announced and feted at the 17th TTG Travel Awards & Gala Dinner. Magic Lucky Draw for One and All

All early-bird delegates who had registered before 28 April 2006 will be eligible to participate in the IT&CMA and CTW 2006 Magic Lucky Draw. Attractive prizes sponsored by generous exhibitors include Asia Nobel House GMBH & Co. Kg’s special painting by famous German artist Pellegrino Ritter; Anantara Resorts vouchers at two of its hotels in Chiangrai and Koh Samui; Starwood Hotels & Resorts vouchers at six of its hotels in Sydney, Hanoi, Perth, Pattaya, Xiamen and Jarkarta; as well as complimentary entrance and performance tickets sponsored by Siam Niramit and Siam Ocean World. 50 lucky delegates will also receive a copy of A Carrot A Day and they can get their copies personally autographed by Keynote Speaker Chestor Elton.

Extra Table-Top Display for Early-Bird Exhibitors

15 of the IT&CMA corporate exhibitors who had signed up early will be given extra space to display theirproducts and services to Corporate Travel Managers during the CTW Table-Top Networking Session on 10 October 2006.

Going on the Incentive Trip of their Lifetime!

Right after IT&CMA and CTW 2006, Exotissimo Travel and the Thailand Incentive and Convention Association are putting their best foot forward to show off their exotic destinations (Cambodia, Chiangmai, Chiangrai, Krabi, Phuket and Vietnam) to Buyers, Corporate Travel Managers and Media delegates.
