Direct flights launch a marketing campaign in Australia

A New Marketing Campaign for Direct Flights.com.au (Australia) will build on three fold rise in business.

SYDNEY- Australian discount flight site, Direct Flights, has launched its biggest-ever marketing campaign aimed at building on a three-fold jump in online business over the past three years.

The new, 12-month advertising program includes TV ads on free-to-air TV channels Nine, SBS, GO and GEM, billboards at dozens of suburban railway stations in Melbourne and Sydney, print advertising in Chinese newspapers in both cities and sponsorship of multicultural events.

The Managing Director of Direct Flights International, Nay Phu Tran, said a three-fold rise in business for the online travel agent over the past three years had seen the company grow from a smaller player in a crowded market into a mainstream channel for consumers seeking good-value airfares and holiday packages.

We’ve worked hard to make our website fast and easy with all the latest discount airfares available and we charge no extra booking fees on top of the fares listed and over time, more and more Australians have turned to us to book their travel online,” Mr Phu Tran said.

Established in 1991, Direct Flights International is a leading Australian online travel agent offering a fast and easy-to-use method of booking low-cost flights and holiday packages in Australia and around the world. Travellers can pair flights with more than 45,000 hotels as well as tours and attractions in more than 300 destinations across the globe. More than 40,000 bookings were made with Direct Flights in 2011.
