Avtura Limited the UK-based company responsible for the Real-time Aircraft Turnaround Tool (RATT) have entered into an MOU with Improformance Partners Pty Ltd of Sydney, Australia for implementation of a Reseller agreement for Avtura’s RATT product in Australia and New Zealand.
The Avtura RATT is an application used on a ruggedised hand held computer which allows airlines to manage aircraft turnarounds and optimise the time between an aircraft landing and taking-off.
The Avtura RATT provides a complete, real-time overview of all turnaround related information, including push back and towing, fuelling, catering, cleaning, cargo, baggage, load plans, passenger buses, crew, boarding and security. A tailored individual flight profile runs throughout the turnaround process automatically alerting the user to any critical events which may affect an on-time departure. These events are graduated to show the importance and impact of any overdue event, allowing the Dispatcher/Turnaround Coordinator to manage the operation efficiently ensuring a safe and punctual departure.
