TOKYO, JAPAN – Japan Airlines, in partnership with its Pacific Joint Business partner American Airlines, announced the launch of American Airlines’ new nonstop service between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and New York (JFK), starting June 28, 2024. This addition strengthens the robust connectivity offered by both carriers, providing customers with three daily flights between these two key cities.
New Nonstop Service to Enhance Global Connectivity
American Airlines becomes the only US carrier to operate nonstop flights between New York and Tokyo, complementing the two existing daily flights operated by Japan Airlines. This expansion not only enhances service frequency but also provides passengers with improved connectivity to numerous destinations across the United States, Central, and South America via New York.
