Travellers can bring their cats or small dogs into the cabin provided it is small enough to stand, turn around and lie down in its carrier under the seat.
To make relocating to Canada with pets hassle-free, Air Canada is offering exclusive deals with selected pet partners who specialize in relocating pets to any part of the world3. With Pet Movers HK, which has over twenty years of pet relocation experience, travellers can enjoy a credit discount and treat pets to a one-way premium escort service with their Mercedes Benz Vito fleet to the Hong Kong International Airport.
Alternatively, relocate pets through the one-stop portal Pet Holidays Hong Kong, which is offering an Air Canada-exclusive program for HK$5,000, waiving fees for issuing export documents and also offers a pick- up service in Hong Kong (excluding Outlying Islands district).
Staying Connected on the Way
Travellers can become an Aeroplan member for free and add their Aeroplan number to their booking before they check-in to enjoy Air Canada’s free texting service.
The steps to use the service are the following:
- Connecting to onboard Wi-Fi after take-off
- Selecting the “Free Texting” option
- Filling in the last name and seat number
Apple’s iMessage, Meta’s Messenger and WhatsApp, Messages by Google and Rakuten’s Viber are all supported.
