Tourism Australia is going to support the 15th edition of the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo by having a presence in the AIME Media Office according to AIME officials. “AIME is the premier event in the Asia Pacific region for the meetings and incentive industry and Tourism Australia is extremely pleased to be launching our new Business Events campaign – Re-energise in Australia – in conjunction with AIME 2007,” said Geoff Buckley, Managing Director, Tourism Australia.

The campaign is the result of extensive research that was carried out by Tourism Australia in 2006 in three key markets – the UK, USA and Asia.

AIME 2007 is at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday, 13 – 14 February. The event includes around 850 exhibitors from 50 countries and is expected to attract an audience of more than 2,600 visitors. Tourism Australia will hold a media conference on Tuesday 13 February in the AIME Media Office.

Rosemarie Sama, AIME Event Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome back Tourism Australia after many years absence and I’m sure their presence and support at AIME 2007 will be highly regarded by the business events industry. We look forward to a long relationship between Tourism Australia and AIME.”
