Sell Victoria with Qantas Holidays and help The Bushfire appeal

For every night of every booking made by a Qantas Holidays Achiever to Victoria, Qantas Holidays will donate £5 to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund organised by the Australian Red Cross. This incentive is valid 1st March-30th June.

Qantas Holidays General Manager Nick Crabb said “There cannot be a single person who was not moved by the unfolding tragedy of the Victorian bushfires, and as one of Australia’s oldest and most respected tour operators we could not stand by and do nothing. We wanted to be actively involved in the region’s rebuilding programme which is why we created this incentive in conjunction with Tourism Victoria. The trade has always been very supportive in times of tragedy and I am sure they will be so again on this occasion.”

Commenting on this incentive, Tourism Victoria’s Regional Manager UK & Europe Claire Golding said “This was a terrible thing to happen but, from a tourism perspective, it does not affect most places that British travellers would visit – the majority of Victoria’s popular tourist destinations have been unscathed by the bushfires. We welcome the support of our industry partners while our State is recovering from this natural disaster, as by selling holidays to our region the trade is directly helping to put people back on their feet.” To date, the Qantas Group has already supported this appeal with AUS$481,000 (approx £218,000).
