A brochure promoting the Great Ocean Road will highlight the potential of regional Victoria to Commonwealth Games visitors.
The Commonwealth Games edition of the Great Ocean Road tourism brochure will have information on accommodation, attractions and other visitor needs for exploring one of the world`s most stunning coastlines.
The Great Ocean Road brochure is part of Victoria`s suite of Jigsaw brochures that promote the tourism options for visitors to every region in the state.
The Games represent the biggest tourism opportunity on the horizon for Victoria and we`re doing everything we can to attract as many spectators as possible, Victorian Tourism Minister John Pandazopoulos said.
Once they arrive, it`s our job to ensure that the tourism benefits are spread beyond Melbourne and into the regions.
Mr Pandazopoulos said the brochure was the biggest edition ever, packed with 140 pages of tourism information and featuring almost 300 advertisers.
This is a very special edition of the Great Ocean Road brochure and I am confident that its interesting articles and stunning pictures will inspire visitors from all around to make a trip to the region.
The brochure will be distributed through various visitor information centres around the state and will also be available through the Victorian Tourism Information Service.
