ZUG (CH) / ADELAIDE (AUS) – Chain4Travel announce that it has just become a member of the Tourism Industry Council South Australia (TiCSA). This new membership will offer opportunities to develop valuable industry connections across Australia to promote and grow the Camino blockchain.

Chain4Travel is setting up a worldwide web3 travel ecosystem, a stable and secure technological infrastructure for B2B, B2C, and even Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) travel products. All travel players can trade services efficiently with the help of simplified processes based on the latest blockchain technology. Chain4Travel initiated the Camino blockchain dedicated to the travel industry, which will go live in the first quarter of 2023. This travel blockchain is designed to be operated and governed by partners of the global travel industry, for the travel industry, in a decentralized manner.

Chain4Travel’s and TICSA’s vision and approach are perfectly aligned. Both organizations aim to build relevant industry capabilities and to create networks to encourage innovation and economic growth for all participating travel industry players.

Via TiCSA, Chain4Travel aims to connect and commence constructive exchanges with other members and thought leaders as well as providing educational information around blockchain, and customized, relevant use cases to individual local travel businesses which can be demonstrated and discussed. Ultimately, leading Australian travel industry players, such as tour operators, airlines, hotel providers, and many more, are invited to learn how to benefit from the new tech opportunities within the growing Camino Network to drive further digital transformation.

Ralf Usbeck, CEO of Chain4Travel, explained: “We have already initiated first conversations with key industry players who share our vision of an open and decentralized travel distribution landscape. We welcome new discussions in which we can share current worldwide developed use cases in order to inspire new innovative distribution, product, and process models that benefit Australian travel players. Our market approach in Australia, and globally, is based on collaboration, and we look forward to welcoming Australian thought leaders to the Camino Network.”

Martin Kloeckner, Australia based Advisor of Chain4Travel, is the local contact and ready to assist the market to understand the benefits of blockchain technology in general and how Camino specifically is designed to grow the travel industry.

Shaun de Bruyn, CEO of TiCSA: “TiCSA is pleased to welcome Chain4Travel as an Industry Leader member. As the peak industry body for tourism, it is important we have members that represent the future of travel technology and the travel economy. Chain4Travel, and the Camino Network, can assist the South Australian tourism industry to transition business practices and adopt innovation and future-oriented solutions that reflect the new direction in travel distribution platforms.”
