Diverse landscapes and experiences such as Kangaroo Island, wildlife 4WD safaris, the Eyre Peninsula, the rugged ancient beauty of the Flinders Ranges and the Barossa'sacclaimed vineyards, will all be showcased.
SYDNEY – South Australia will have the largest delegation among all Australian states at the sold-out Luxperience high-end travel exchange that takes place in Sydney, 2-4 September 2013.
Ten South Australian operators will give scores of travel buyers a flavour of what to expect: stunning sandy beaches, legendary outback scenery, the vibrant capital of Adelaide, world-class food and wine, and iconic wildlife.
“If you think Australia, think South Australia,” said South Australian Tourism Commission CEO Rodney Harrex. “From our wildlife and world-class wine to our stunning outback landscapes, all the experiences associated with a true Australian holiday are here.”
Variety, inspiration and a commitment to quality characterise the ten South Australian exhibitors at Luxperience. These include: Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre – set in the heart of the Barossa; The Louise — luxury culinary tourism and accommodation also in the Barossa; Chinta Tours — tailor made air safaris in private light aircraft and 4WDs to stunning outback locations; Exceptional Kangaroo Island — good food, wine, wildlife sightings and creative itineraries; Gawler Ranges Wilderness Safaris — Kangaluna Camp, a boutique tented camp that caters for up to 12 guests in an iconic Australian setting; Kangaroo Island Wilderness Tours — local guides (most of whom have lived on the Island all their lives) take guests into one of the world’s leading wildlife destinations; Kingsford Homestead — an award winning luxury country retreat among rolling hills on the edge of the Barossa; Rawnsley Park Station–guided walks and 4WD tours to experience the wildlife and landscapes of the Flinders Ranges; The Tailor — off the beaten path specialists for private tours with a luxury edge; and Southern Ocean Lodge — Australia’s first true luxury lodge, located on Kangaroo Island.
Luxperience will showcase South Australia to invitation-only luxury and experiential travel buyers from around the world. Buyers from North America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Latin America will be present as well as travel specialists from around Australia. Luxperience starts with a Thought Leaders session on 1 September when business leaders and industry experts will share the latest trends and outlooks for what is considered the fastest growing niche within the travel industry.
Entrance to Luxperience, which is sold out, is limited to officially registered delegates only.
