ChinaContact, organiser of the WTM-ChinaContact conference `China…the future of Travel` has confirmed the final speakers for the new full day senior level conference which takes place on the opening day of WTM (World Travel Market), on 6th November 2006.

With the latest additions, the speakers list now comprises of 46 distinguished speakers and panelists from government and the private sector who will address China`s tourism sector from a wide spectrum. The conference will consist of nine one-hour sessions on the most important topics affecting tourism to and from China today and in the future (with some running in parrallel).

Recently joining the speaker lineup are:

Roger Tondeur, founder and president of MCI Group, who will be talking about corporate travel in China and his own group`s recent forray into the market, with a new office in Shanghai.

John Fitz-Gerlad, Sales & Marketing Manager for China Eastern Airlines London office who will share with the conference the challenges and tribulations of turning a local Chinese airline into an international carrier on the global stage.

It is the first time in Europe that speakers of this calibre from China and the West are all gathered in one place. WTM is hosting this important event on its opening day. `China…the future of Travel` enjoys the support of VisitBritain, Visit London, CBBC, WTTC, UKinbound. The conference will be chaired by Lady Cobham, VisitBritain`s Deputy Chairman and Acting Chairperson. The CEO of Visit London James Bidwell, the CEO of CBBC Stephen Philipps and the President of WTTC Jean-Claude Baumgarten will all be taking part.
