World-renowned wellness destination, Chiva-Som, prepares to reopen on 12th June

Recent events have brought the importance of good health to the forefront of human consciousness, and people are more motivated than ever to explore new lifestyle behaviours.

A pioneer in global wellness, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin, Thailand has announced it will reopen its doors on 12th June, 2020.  As Thailand gradually eases its lockdown, Chiva-Som is making essential preparations for operations to resume, in accordance with local government guidelines and advice.  Chiva-Som embraces guests’ goals for safe and healthy food, active exercise and immunity-boosting activities in a safe and tranquil environment.

Transitioning to the ‘new normal’, heightened hygiene measures include COVID-19 testing and quarantine for contact staff, as well as temperature checks upon arrival, deep cleaning of guest rooms, frequent disinfection of all equipment, social distancing – as needed, and complimentary hand sanitiser and masks for guests.   Chiva-Som is blessed with mature outdoor gardens with Thai-style salas, and has the beachfront Taste of Siam restaurant which will ensure guests are able to enjoy meditation and dining or other activities in well-ventilated spaces.

Recent events have brought the importance of good health to the forefront of human consciousness, and people are more motivated than ever to explore new lifestyle behaviours that promise better immunity, stronger bodies and longevity. Translating to ‘Haven of Life’, Chiva-Som embodies this philosophy by providing a personalised wellness experience through a holistic approach, incorporating mind, body and spirit, to bring a healing balance to individuals’ lifestyles.   Evoking a real sense of privacy, luxury and exclusivity, the resort boasts just 54 spacious guest rooms, immaculate gardens and secluded spaces for quiet contemplation, creating a nourishing environment to help guests achieve their health and wellness goals.

“Even during our closure, we have made the wellness of our guests our priority and adapted our services to offer wellness support online” said Krip Rojanastien, Chairman and CEO of Chiva-Som. “We are re-opening on 12th June with a mission to enhance our services further, at a time when it is essential to feel safe. Staying well is the key to combatting future viral attacks. The world will never be the same, but wellness is here to stay.”

Upon reopening new additions in the wellness journey will be available – specifically targeting post-lockdown concerns including the revival spiritual, mental and physical health.
