Vizergy wins Best Hotel and Lodging Website in Internet advertising competition

Vizergy recently won three awards, including one of the highest possible honors, in the Web Marketing Association’s (WMA) Internet Advertising Competition (IAC), which helps establish a standard for Internet marketing and corporate web development.

Vizergy won awards in the “Website” format in the “Hotel and Lodging” category for the following properties:
– Marco Beach Ocean Resort – Best Hotel and Lodging Website
– Sugar Bay Resort and Spa – Outstanding Website
– Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Downtown – Outstanding Website

Both the Marco Beach and Sugar Bay sites are custom, modern designs that allow upscale independent resorts to outperform the competition. The websites utilize the latest usability best practices, including design elements such as large imagery, layered calls to action, area guides and social media integration. The sites also include professional copywriting and SEO.

While Crowne Plaza Philadelphia’s website includes the same aforementioned marketing and design elements, it also adheres to InterContinental Hotels Group’s brand standards, including logo usage and copy. The site also directs visitors to the brand booking engine.

“Our branded and independent clients, like all hotels and resorts, heavily depend on their independent websites,” says Philip Faircloth, Vizergy’s Director of Client Marketing Services. “Our entire company takes pride in our website design and marketing, so consistently winning awards is rewarding for our team. And best of all, the websites produce tremendous traffic, travel shopper engagement and results for our clients.”
