Although the hospitality industry is recovering, the last three years have been as challenging as ever. Despite the rocky conditions, Vizergy was able to win six 2010 HSMAI Adrian Awards, including three gold awards. Now the hotel Internet marketing company has won two Interactive Media Awards (IMA), which recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development.
Vizergy was honored with the “Outstanding Achievement Award” in the “Hotel/Resort” category for the following two portal websites:
- Bed and Breakfasts of Savannah
- Sky Hotels & Resorts.
Bed and Breakfasts of Savannah, a longtime Vizergy client, is a group of upscale Bed and Breakfasts and small hotels in Savannah, GA whose properties have been featured in publications such as Southern Living magazine. Sky Hotel & Resorts is a group of both branded and independent resort properties that offer generous accommodations in the Walt Disney World area of Orlando, FL.
The Outstanding Achievement Award, the second highest honor bestowed by the IMA, is based on design, content, planning, execution and overall professionalism. The awards were created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc., a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals founded in 1998.
