REPORT-HONG KONG-PATA TRAVEL MART 2006: VIVA Macau – the international low fare airline of choice for Macau and the Pearl River Delta – is participating in Asia`s premier travel trade show, the PATA Travel Mart 2006 in Hong Kong. VIVA Macau Chief Executive Andrew Pyne said: The PATA Travel Mart is Asia`s most important travel trade fair. VIVA Macau`s participation will provide us with valuable opportunities to showcase our air travel products to a wide Asian industry audience as we prepare to inaugurate our network of international air services to a range of exciting new destinations from nearby Macau next month.
The PATA Travel Mart is in its 29th year, having grown into Asia`s most important and exciting travel trade fair by attracting the region`s most important suppliers and destination marketers.
Last year`s edition – PATA Travel Mart 2005 – was held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, where it attracted 375 buyers from around the world, meeting 704 seller delegates from 37 Asian territories.
VIVA Macau participate in PATA Travel Mart 2006 under the umbrella of the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO).
