Vietjet welcomes summer with new route to Bali

The Ho Chi Minh City – Bali route will operate five return flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday starting from 29 May 2019, with a flight time of approximately four hours per leg.

Singapore – To welcome the arrival of summer Vietjet has officially opened ticket sales on 12 April 2019 for its new international route connecting Vietnam’s largest city, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bali (Indonesia). Vietjet is the first airline to operate this route, linking the two tourist destinations to meet travel demands.

The Ho Chi Minh City – Bali route will operate five return flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday starting from 29 May 2019, with a flight time of approximately four hours per leg. The flight will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 8.05 am (local time) and arrive in Bali at 1.05 pm (local time). The return flight departs at 2.05 pm and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.05 pm (local time).

Vice President of Vietjet, Nguyen Thanh Son said, “Vietjet has the advantages of an expanding flight network and comfortable, friendly aviation services. I believe that the new route will not only create opportunities for people to travel by a safe and modern mode of air transport, but also connect the two economic and cultural centres of Vietnam and Indonesia. The route will contribute to tourism and economic integration in the region as well as introducing Vietnam to the world.”

Bali, the popular tourist island of Indonesia, is often called the “Island of the Gods”, “Tropical Paradise” or “Dawn of the World”. Voted the best tourist island in the world, Bali is a wonderful blend of beautiful, pristine landscapes, local culture, artistic and religious influences. Other than visiting the famous Ubud Palace and terraced rice fields, tourists can visit the large Bratan lake in Bedugul town and take part in water sports activities such as surfing, snorkelling or diving.

Vietnam, with thousands of years of culture, has always been a favourite destination. Hanoi capital represents Vietnam’s identity as an ancient culture, while Hue, Da Nang, Quang Binh behold impressive natural wonders. Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest economic and financial centre, making it a vibrant and modern travel destination. The juxtaposition of ancient and modern makes Vietnam a truly vibrant country to explore.
