Hanoi is now Vietjet’s second link to Yangon, Myanmar after Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to their cultural similarities, Vietnam and Myanmar are both key destinations for investment and robust economic development. This new link is thus expected to contribute towards the development of regional integration and further boost trade between the two countries.

With its convenient flying time and amazing fares, the new route also presents an excellent opportunity for Vietjet to capitalise on increasing travel demand and offer local passengers and international tourists greater options for their travel plans.

Yangon – the biggest city in Myanmar is famous among tourists for its traditional culture and unique beauty. The city also boasts the largest number of colonial-era buildings in the region and is home to the gilded Shwedagon Pagoda – Myanmar’s most sacred Buddhist pagoda. Historical monuments aside, downtown Yangon also possesses its share of attractions with its pavements lined with food vendors and colourful open-air markets. This has certainly aided in spurring the large increase in tourism in recent years.

Hanoi – the civilised capital of modern Vietnam has undergone rapid transformations in recent decades. Considered one of the most beautiful of the colonial Indochinese cities, the motorbike-filled streets of Hanoi has much to offer for visitors, from lovely parks and museums to street side restaurants and world-class coffee.

With its high-quality services, special low-fare tickets and diverse ticket classes, Vietjet offers its passengers enjoyable flights with a dynamic and friendly flight crew, comfy seats, delicious hot meals, special surprises as part of the inflight activities and amazing ticket fares during the daily “It’s time to Vietjet” promotion.
