Vietjet to add extra daily round trip to Ho Chi Minh City – Bangkok route

The additional route will commence operations on 18 May 2015 to meet growing demand for low-cost travel between the two destinations.

SINGAPORE – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) has announced plans to increase the frequency of its international route linking Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand. 
 
The additional route will commence operations on 18 May 2015 to meet growing demand for low-cost travel between the two destinations. With three round trips per day, the route will now have a capacity of 7,560 seats per week, offering passengers more choices when planning their trip.
 
The new schedule will see flights depart from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 8.30am, 11.15am and 2.15pm (local time). The return flights will depart from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11.30am, 1.50pm and 7.55pm (local time). The flight duration per section is one hour and 30 minutes.

Vietjet currently operates 150 flights per day with a fleet of 23 Airbus aircraft across 28 routes domestically and internationally. Vietjet has daily flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City where travelers can easily connect to other cities within Vietnam and across the region via the airline’s extensive network of domestic and international flights. The airline has also announced plans to increase the frequency of its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route from 30 May 2015.
