SINGAPORE – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (Vietjet) this week welcomed two new aircraft to its fleet. The first, a brand new Airbus A321 (coded VN-A667) is the twelfth of the 100 aircraft order made by the airline with Airbus in September 2013. The second aircraft, for lease, is also an Airbus A321 (coded LZ-PMZ).

With these additions to the fleet, Vietjet is now operating 32 brand new Airbus A320s and A321s, helping the forward-thinking airline to improve service quality and further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Managing Director of Vietjet.

To welcome the fleets newest members, Vietjet will operate 1,000 more flights to meet surging travel demands over the Chinese New Year Period. 200,000 more tickets will be available to passengers on current and new routes, including those connecting Vinh and Tuy Hoa with Ho Chi Minh City.

Vietjet currently operates 200 flights per day across 44 routes, domestically and internationally. The airline features fast and easy check-in services, such as express check-in at all airports for passengers over 65 years of age, expectant mothers, and families travelling with children. The airline was also recently announced “Best Asian Low Cost Carrier” at the TTG Travel Awards 2015.
