Travelport signs new agreement with Almatur

Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has signed a new three-year deal with Almatur, Poland’s biggest youth leisure travel agents operating in 20 offices nationwide.

Using Travelport’s Worldspan Go booking tool, agents will have access to inventory from over 420 global airlines including over 70 low cost carriers as well as access to over 88,000 hotel properties and 25 car rental providers. The platform is accessed through a web-browser and is powered by the Worldspan platform, offering a spectrum of travel planning, booking and management solutions.

Established in 1956, Almatur offers students in Poland leisure and incentives travel including discounted airfares, job shadowing, language courses and International Student Identity Cards (ISIC).

Miroslaw Sikorski, president of the board at Almatur, commented: “Since switching to Travelport, we have outlined a business strategy which will see us providing rich content which helps us to gain new prospects.
