Travel Incorporated solves industry challenge to increase hotel compliance and adoption

Travel Incorporated solves an industry challenge to increase hotel adoption and compliance using proprietary Travel Incorporated technologies.

Travel Incorporated has developed an automated process which identifies reservations where an overnight stay is warranted but does not include an associated hotel booking. Such violations are identified within 24 hours of the booking. Additionally, Travel Incorporated reports if the booking qualifies for a preferred property. This logic applies whether the reservation is booked by traditional call-in methods or via an online booking tool. Analytics within Travel Incorporated’s proprietary GalaxyNet Enterprise identify total missed opportunities, those outside compliance and the opportunity represented by each violator. Those participating in our beta study resulted in a 16% improvement in hotel compliance in the first 45 days.

Historically, hotel compliance is the single most challenging area for companies to increase and track traveler compliance. Lodging selections made outside of the Travel Management Company (TMC) limit the opportunities afforded a healthy corporate travel program. Industry studies have shown, over 50% of itineraries do not include hotel segments where overnight travel is planned. This deviation undermines strategy for leveraging volume discounts and, most importantly, leads to the inability to track travelers for crisis management.

“Travel Incorporated’s solution assists Travel Managers and Risk Management to enhance compliance and increase the adoption of their negotiated hotel agreements”, says Mike Brown, President of Travel Incorporated. “Duty of Care requires companies to gain a better understanding of where their travelers are at any given time. With our solution, companies mitigate risk with the ability to easily gain access to the location of their travelers in case of an unforeseen event.”
