The Fosun Tourism Group steps up its expansion in Greece with 8 hotels under the Casa Cook and Cook’s Club

Four new hotels in Rhodes, Corfu, Mykonos and Samos will be added to the FTC collection for Summer 2022, joining the hotels that are already operating in Rhodes, Kos and Crete successfully from 2020.

Aiming to emerge as one of the leading lifestyle hotel groups in Greece, FTC Hotels, the new hotel venture launched by the Fosun Tourism Group, announced the operation of 8 innovative, lifestyle resorts under the Casa Cook and Cook’s Club brands for the tourist season of 2022, in a press conference held yesterday in Athens. Presenting the company’s strategy for Greece Alessandro Dassi, Vice-President of the Fosun Tourism Group, set out its goal to accelerate the growth of the hotel collection by doubling the number of hotels in both traditional and emerging destinations by 2023.

Four new hotels in Rhodes, Corfu, Mykonos and Samos will be added to the FTC collection for Summer 2022, joining the hotels that are already operating in Rhodes, Kos and Crete successfully from 2020.

FTC’s portfolio for the coming season will include a total of 15 properties across prime tourist destinations in Greece, Egypt, Turkey, Spain and Bulgaria (Casa Cook Rhodes, Casa Cook Samos, Casa Cook Mykonos, Cook’s Club Hersonissos, Cook’s Club Tigaki Kos, Cook’s Club Rhodes City Beach, Cook’s Club Ialysos Rhodes, Cook’s Club Corfu)

We are very positive about the prospects of Greece tourism in 2022. Greece is a strategic destination for us, which fits perfectly with our hotel brands. Our goal is to create one of the leading lifestyle hotel and resort groups in the region”, said Alessandro Dassi. Within this framework, Mr Dassi extended an open invitation to the Greek hotel community to explore possible collaborations with mutual benefits for both parties. “It is our strategic decision to step up our investment in the region with the expansion of our collection of resorts under the Casa Cook and Cook’s Club brands. We are open to partnerships with hoteliers and investors who want to be part of this vision”, he added.

According to Remo Masala, FTC’s Creative Director, “Casa Cook and Cook’s Club fit the model of postmodern, social spaces, aiming at providing guests a place where they can connect and grow. All our hotels are deeply inspired by the Greek culture of celebrating friendships. The Greek word ‘parea’ is the core value of the brand and determines the design for every customer touchpoint”.

FTC is part of the Fosun Tourism Group, one of the world’s leading leisure tourism groups, which also owns the all-inclusive French resort brand Club Med and the recently relaunched online Travel Agency, Thomas Cook.
