Thai Vietjet to resume Bangkok – Da Lat in early December

In the beginning, the new international service from Bangkok to Da Lat will operate 4 flights a week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with an approximate flight duration of 1 hour 40 minutes.

BANGKOK – Further recovering the connection between Thailand and Vietnam, Thai Vietjet announces its resumed international services from Bangkok to Da Lat, starting from December 2, 2022.

“We are delighted to reconnect Thailand with one of the top travel destinations of Vietnam – ‘Da Lat’, the city of flowers and beautiful natural landscapes. To provide Thai travelers with more opportunities and flexible choices to travel to Vietnam, as well as welcome Vietnamese tourists to Thailand, we have decided to resume direct flight service between Bangkok and Da Lat. Since tourism is bouncing back to pre-pandemic levels, we strongly believe that the service between the two destinations would facilitate the region’s growing travel demand and trade recovery of both countries” said Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Vietjet.

Vietnam has proven as one of the top tourist destinations in Asia-pacific, with its beautiful landscape and unique culture. Da Lat, in particular, is known as the capital city of Lam Dong province, with a variety in nature; beautiful flowers, lovely French villages, magnificent valleys, waterfalls and lakes, in a refreshing atmosphere. Bangkok, on the other hand, has a stunning view of the boat-filled Chao Phraya River, the spectacular Grand Palace, and numerous lively night markets.

In addition, Thai Vietjet, in cooperation with Vietjet Group, has operated stable flight services between Thailand and Vietnam: from Bangkok to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc together with flight from Phuket and Chiang Mai to Ho Chi Minh city.

Thai Vietjet has continuously expanded its international flight network to many top tourist destinations including Singapore, Fukuoka (Japan), Da Nang and Phu Quoc (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Taipei, offering passengers more valued choices, as well as further reinforcing its network expansion and supporting the rising travel demand.

Thai Vietjet hosts Fly Green Charity Golf Tournament
Also, Thai Vietjet has successfully hosted its first charity golf tournament “Fly Green Charity Golf Day” at Alpine Golf & Sports Club, Bangkok. During the event, Thai Vietjet welcomed over 100 golfers, including its business partners from various sectors, as well as its strategic partner – Seub Nakhasathien Foundation.

“Fly Green Charity Golf Tournament arose from Thai Vietjet’s strong determination to consistently support and build a greener environment. As an air transportation service provider, Thai Vietjet believes that we are also responsible for the contribution to the environmental sustainability. We have put an enormous effort to reduce pollution from our daily operation, and have taken many actions to protect the environment, reducing the cause of the global warming issue that humanity has been facing with” said Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Vietjet.

Since the establishment of the Fly Green Fund, Thai Vietjet has consistently been carrying out a wide range of environmental projects and activities, including “Garbage Hunter”, a project with the purpose of removing garbage from various locations in Thailand, raising environmental awareness amongst Thai Vietjet’s staff and the public, promoting sustainability, and lowering garbage and waste in the environment.
