Surprise Performance on-board Thai Vietjet’s inaugural flight from Bangkok to Taichung
Bangkok, Thailand – Thai Vietjet launched on November 3rd its direct service from Bangkok (Suvarnabumi) to Taichung (Taiwan). The inaugural flight VZ560 departed Bangkok on time at 9.00 AM and landed safely at 13.45 PM at Taichung Airport in central Taiwan in perfectly fine weather, exactly on the same date of Taichung World Flora Expo 2018’s grand opening. The launch of the new service makes Thai Vietjet become the only airline providing direct flights on this route with 5 flights weekly on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Started from check-in, passengers were happily greeted by a cute Taiwanese bear mascot in Suvarnabhumi Airport. The inaugural flight was fully filled with various entertaining activities to make passengers enjoy flying, plus to promote tourism of Taichung. Thai Vietjet has teamed up with Taiwan Tourism Bureau to impress passengers on-board this special flight with surprising in-the-air entertainment of Contemporary Chinese live performance, serving complimentary Taiwanese popular bubble tea drinks, and offering complimentary Taichung travel guide. As the aircraft landed, the passengers and flight crew were warmly welcomed with flower garlands by local government representatives.
Highlighting the new service from Bangkok to Taichung, “We are very delighted to have launched direct service between Bangkok and Taichung city, the central of Taiwan, favorite destination for Thai locals and international travelers, on this special occasion of Taichung World Flora Expo 2018’s Grand Opening. The new service today celebrates our 8th route to/from Taiwan by Vietjet group, together with Taichung/Taipei/Kaohsiung – Ho Chi Minh city/Hanoi, and Tainan – Ho Chi Minh city. We hope that our new service Bangkok – Taichung will offer convenient and quality choices to passengers to enjoy flying with us, and further contribute to the trade, tourism and cultural exchange between Thailand and Taiwan”, said Thai Vietjet’s management representative.
Taichung is a special municipality located in central Taiwan. The city is well-known for its arts and culture full of interesting attractions for visiting like Rainbow Village, National Taichung theatre, and Hehuanshan National Park. 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition is a must-visit event promoting a sustainable, inclusive and publicity accessible concept from November 2018 until April 2019.
