Thai Vietjet boosts summer capacity in Central Vietnam

Following its successful debut flights between Bangkok (Thailand) and Bodh Gaya (India) last year, the airline has also operated many other chartered flights from Bangkok to Hue and Da Nang during the Songkran holidays.

SINGAPORE – Vietnam’s first joint venture airline with Thailand, Thai Vietjet has gained success for its chartered flights connecting Bangkok and destinations in central Vietnam. Following its successful debut flights between Bangkok (Thailand) and Bodh Gaya (India) last year, the airline has also operated many other chartered flights from Bangkok to Hue and Da Nang during the Songkran holidays. Vietjet has also operated two additional return flights from Bangkok to Hue on 29 May 2015 and 1 June 2015, bringing hundreds of Thai tourists to Vietnam to explore this ancient city.

These events reinforce the fact that demand for tourism from Thailand to Vietnam is increasing and Thai Vietjet aims to meet that demand.

The positive feedback from travel agents and passengers based on our previous flights has encouraged Thai Vietjet to provide more flight options between Bangkok and Central Vietnam to meet passenger demand. We are now working closely with competent authorities and travel agents to be able to offer more scheduled services in the near future,” said a representative from Thai Vietjet.

Thai Vietjet was officially launched on 20 December 2014 in Bangkok.
