“Tasting Hong Kong” at Hong Kong International Airport

Take a breath and indulge in the ambience of art this summer at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), where passengers could find a special “Tasting Hong Kong” community art campaign showcasing a wide spectrum of visual artworks presented by ten local talents on Level 3 and Level 5 of Terminal 2 from July to September.

Led by Grace Cheng, an independent curator and the Director of Community Art Network (CAN) and Art in Hospital, ten up-and-coming local artists including Alannala Lau, Becky Ng, Bell Hui, Eastman Cheng, Leung Kwong Yiu (Fui Hung), Kong Chun Hei, Margaret Chu, Tang Kwok Hin, Tamshui: and Wong Tin Yan collaborated in this project to present their innovative ideas on local Hong Kong taste through different medium including painting, sculpture, multi-media and photography of materials (Please refer to appendix for detail introduction of each artwork).

Apart from free-entrance artworks exhibition, free weekend workshops as well as Indie band shows by independent musicians Jing Wong, SIU2 and Choi Sai Ho will also be conducted, further enhancing the overall artistic atmosphere at HKIA.
