Take part in the CIBTM Pan Asian research survey online

The China Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM), organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions, is urging meetings professionals to take part in a second global research study. This pioneering research will be imperative to anyone working with or from the region who requires market data and information on the demand and supply trends for the meetings industry into and out of the China and Pan Asian region as well as inter-regionally.

The second CIBTM Pan Asian Meetings Industry Research Survey is now live on www.cibtm.com until 22nd August 2008. The survey has been put together to build on the data and information gained in the first year of the study and is now an annual event.  The results of the research will be revealed at a special workshop in Beijing, home to CIBTM, during October 2008. All those who participate in the survey will be invited to attend the presentation.

CIBTM is the leading showcase for Chinese and international destinations, products and services and is the premier event in China for the Meetings, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition industries.

Exhibition Director Graeme Barnett comments: “The first research report was well received by the industry and our aim is to now build on this year on year. We need the support of the global meetings industry and in particular buyers and suppliers from China and Asia, to help us with this initiative and establish current as well as future trends in the region’s meetings and incentives industry.”

CIBTM 2009 will take place 8-10 September, against the backdrop of the Olympic legacy with many new venues and hotels available to exhibitors and visitors with the event itself being held in the Capital City’s new state of the art China National Convention Centre (CNCC). Just 25 minutes from either the city centre or Beijing’s International Airport the venue boasts China’s biggest and newest world-class meeting and exhibition space as well as the 4-star, 443 room China National Convention Centre Hotel, which will be the event’s official partner hotel.
