Swiss-Belhotel International opens a 3-star hotel in Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan

Swiss-Belhotel International currently has a worldwide portfolio of more than 80 hotels, resorts and projects ranging from 2-star to 5-star classifications.

Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the opening of Swiss-Belinn Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan on 15 June 2012. This 3-star international business hotel offers an array of international standard services and facilities for business and leisure travellers to Central Kalimantan.

The opening ceremony was symbolised by the signing of an inscription by the Regent of Pangkalan Bun, Dr. H. Ujang Iskandar accompanied by Agung Anggono – Director of PT Mitra Permata Waringin.  Swiss-Belhotel International was represented by Mr. Emmanuel Guillard – Senior Vice President of Operations and Development, Indonesia, Malaysia. Local government and corporate representatives, invitees and journalists also attended the event.

For culinary enjoyment,  Swiss-Belinn Pangkalan Bun provides International and local dishes for buffet breakfast and à la carte menu at Barelo Lobby Lounge and Bar. Tantalising snacks and beverages are available throughout the day, while 24 hour in-room dining is also available for guests to dine in the privacy of their room. For guests’ comfort and safety, there is a 24 hour security service with CCTV cameras.

Pangkalan Bun is the nearest entrance to Tanjung Puting National Park, an excellent destination for back-to-nature and adventure travel.This 300,040 hectare National Park is the habitat of wild and rehabilitated orangutans. Located in the peninsula on the south coast of the world’s third largest tropical rain forest of Central Kalimantan, the park has vast tracts of wetlands, lowland, tropical heath and swamp forest.
