Sphere Conferences launches the Inaugural Hospitality Investment Conference Indonesia 2015

The two-day event attracted over 150 property developers, operators and owners of hospitality properties, as well as financiers and investors from across the region. It provided the platform for discussions and debates on the opportunities offered by the growing hospitality and tourism sector in Indonesia.

JAKARTA – Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH), recently launched the inaugural Hospitality Investment Conference Indonesia (HICI) 2015. Endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia and supported by Jakarta Hotels Association and Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia, the event was held at Fairmont Jakarta, Indonesia, from 12 to 13 May 2015.
 
The two-day event attracted over 150 property developers, operators and owners of hospitality properties, as well as financiers and investors from across the region. It provided the platform for discussions and debates on the opportunities offered by the growing hospitality and tourism sector in Indonesia.
 
The conference covered key areas of hospitality investment landscape in Indonesia, ranging from Indonesia’s hotel investment outlook in 2015, Indonesia’s hotel performance, key destination highlights within Indonesia, insights by Indonesia’s hospitality industry veterans, and the blossoming of niche tourism within Indonesia.
 
The importance of the Indonesian market was made evident by the presence of the region’s key hospitality names like Bintan Resorts, C9 Hotelworks, FRHI Hotels & Resorts, Horwath HTL, Mantra Group- Indonesia, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Parador Hotels & Resorts, QUO and STR Global. The industry leaders share expert insights and experiences in the hope of reaching greater heights and depth within the Indonesian hospitality industry.
