Skal International Bangkok and the PATA Thailand Chapter are working hard on the preparations for a combined Annual Christmas Charity Luncheon.
Bangkok, Thailand – Skål International Bangkok recently held it’s November networking lunch at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel with a record turnout. HE Geoff Doidge South African Ambassador, a good friend of the Bkk Club honoured the event with his presence.
Club President Andrew J Wood gave a presentation on the recently concluded 80th SKÅL World Congress in Miami. The Club was honoured to win 4 awards. Namely:
- SKÅL Club of the year 2018-2019
- Gold Award for membership increase
- Bangkok member YANNA VENTURES won the Sustainable Tourism Award for Rural Accommodation for it’s Anurak Community Lodge
- Bangkok President Andrew J Wood was awarded Skål International’s Membre D’Honneur
The Club’s next meeting will be a special joint event. Skal International Bangkok and the PATA Thailand Chapter are working hard on the preparations for a combined Annual Christmas Charity Luncheon which will take place this year on Tuesday 11th December 2019 at the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok from 12 noon onwards.
Aside from the great opportunity to welcome in the festive season amongst industry colleagues and friends, the core principle of the event the collective goodwill in raising funds for charities.
