Singapore Airlines to begin operations at BCIA’s T3

Singapore Airlines flights will operate from Beijing Capital International Airport’s new Terminal 3 with effect from Wednesday 26 March 2008. The first flights in and out of the new terminal will be SQ812 into Beijing from Singapore and SQ811, departing Beijing for Singapore.

“Singapore Airlines is pleased to be operating from the new Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3,” says Singapore Airlines General Manager China, Ho Yik Wing.

“The brand new Terminal 3 gives us the opportunity to deliver a superior experience to our customers in a sophisticated international terminal with modern facilities.”

Terminal 3 is located approximately 25km or 30 – 45 minutes’ drive from downtown Beijing City. The new terminal is located approximately 5km away from the current terminals 1 & 2.
