KUCHING – Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB) is excited to once again be part of the annual Asia-Pacific Incentive and Meetings Expo (AIME) that will take place on the 18th and 19th February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

SCB will be there to actively promote its “Tribal Quest- Business the Borneo Way” package, a uniquely crafted project to a broader market that appreciates a different take on business events; one that includes adventure in a rich natural setting.

During SCB’s time at AIME there will be a daily ‘miring’ ritual at the Sarawak booth to wish blessings and prosperity to all present.  This will be by anIban warrior, traditionally a Headhunter from the land of Hornbills (otherwise known as Sarawak). The bureau will also offer lucky draws fo rmysterious Borneo prizes to be won.

Managing Director, Mike Cannon comments, “AIME provides a cost effective opportunity for the SCB to see and discover greater business opportunities in the Australian market. Due to the proximity of our destinations, we hope to leverage on this and expand our stable of business event clients, and in particular to encourage buyers to choose Sarawak for corporate product launches and incentives.”
