Santander and AirPlus International strengthens corporate customer offering

Santander Corporate Banking has entered into a new partnership with international business payment solutions company AirPlus International to launch a suite of products to help corporate customers better manage business expenses, improve cash flow and cut down on unnecessary administration.

The three new products include:

  • The Santander AirPlus Corporate Card
  • The Santander AirPlus Corporate Card Compact-
  • The Santander AirPlus Company Account

The Santander AirPlus Corporate Card is a tailored payment solution to help manage a range of travel and business expenses. Corporate cards are a convenient and flexible alternative to petty cash. Defined payment periods and online statements can help companies better manage cash flow. Organisations can maintain complete control over card allocation, cash access and expenditure limits through AirPlus’ state of the art online Business Travel Portal.

For small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), the Santander AirPlus Corporate Card Compact is quick and simple to arrange and can be in wallets seven working days upon receipt of application. The Santander AirPlus Corporate Card and Corporate Card Compact are accepted at 29 million MasterCard Merchants worldwide.

The Santander AirPlus Company Account is a lodge account solution aimed at companies with extensive travel needs. This centralised bespoke payment and billing system delivers enhanced travel data and enables organisations to better evaluate, control and optimise their business expenses.

The new Santander AirPlus Corporate Card includes:

  • A choice of billing dates and payment terms
  • Up to 59 days interest free payment terms
  • Additional travel insurance and emergency medical and legal assistance

The new Santander AirPlus Corporate Card Compact includes:

  • Up to 45 days interest free payment terms
  • Additional travel insurance and emergency medical and legal assistance
  • Cards in wallets in seven working days

The new Santander AirPlus Company Account includes:

  • A centralised bespoke payment and billing system allowing the evaluation, control and optimisation of a travel budget
  • Enhanced efficiency and minimised administration
  • Enhanced data quality allowing sophisticated spend analysis.

All three products are provided with a high quality web-based Business Travel Portal for monitoring and analysing spend. An experience and dedicated UK-based call centre is in place to respond to any customer queries.

The new partnership with Santander Corporate Banking UK and AirPlus International builds on the companies’ existing global partnership.
