Safety & security is Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s top priority

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre appoints new Head of Safety & Security.

KUALA LUMPUR – The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) announces the appointment of Maniraj Nadarasa as its new Head of Safety & Security. Maniraj brings with him over a decade of safety and security experience in the hospitality industry.

Welcoming Maniraj to the venue’s team, the Centre’s General Manager, Alan Pryor, shared, “We are pleased to have Maniraj join our growing family. We are confident that his background in security operations and risk assessment will further enhance the safety and security of the Centre and our guests and visitors. Our security team will definitely benefit from his vast expertise in risk analysis and management, as well as his knowledge of the application of advanced technological assistance to complement our existing security processes and procedures.”

As Head of Safety & Security, he is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of an efficient and effective strategy to manage risk, to maintain continuity of operations and ensure the safety and security of the Centre’s team members and visitors, which is a key priority for the venue.

I am proud to join a world-class facility such as the Centre and look forward to working with the team here to ensure that our safety and security standards remain top of class. The safety and security of our guests and the venue is my priority and my aim is to ensure that all visitors and team members enjoy peace-of-mind while being in the Centre,” said Maniraj.

Prior to joining the Centre, Maniraj was the Loss Prevention Manager at the Westin Kuala Lumpur, where he was responsible for managing security operations and the implementation of risk assessment plans.
