Royal Caribbean International spreads Christmas cheer to Make-A-Wish Singapore’s children with ship tour and donation

Captain Flemming Nielsen, Master of Mariner of the Seas with Ms Jennifer Yap, Managing Director of Royal Caribbean Cruises (Asia) Pte Ltd, also presented a donation cheque of S$10,000 on behalf of the company to Make-A-Wish.

SINGAPORE – On 22 December the staff and crew of Royal Caribbean International welcomed some 60 children and family members of Make-A-Wish Singapore onboard Mariner of the Seas for a special Christmas tour and lunch. 
 
The families first enjoyed a special performance of acrobatics and laser lights in the theatre, followed by a ship tour and photo-taking session with the Christmas tree along the Royal Promenade. Captain Flemming Nielsen, Master of Mariner of the Seas with Ms Jennifer Yap, Managing Director of Royal Caribbean Cruises (Asia) Pte Ltd, also presented a donation cheque of S$10,000 on behalf of the company to Make-A-Wish. 
 
Everyone was next treated to lunch at the American diner Johnny Rockets onboard where they were also greeted by Santa Claus who distributed gifts to the children, and a surprise appearance by DreamWorks Entertainment’s celebrity character Puss-in-Boots, to everyone’s delight.
