BANGKOK – The luxury 407-room Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok located in the central retail area of Sukhumvit, is celebrating 23 years of award-winning hospitality in July with gifts on guest bookings until the end of September, 2016.
Birthday celebrations commenced with a traditional Monk ceremony held at the hotel to thank loyal and hardworking staff for their contributions to the success of the Rembrandt Hotel & Towers. Later, ‘Long Service Awards 2016’ were presented, which recognized hotel colleagues completing 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service excellence.
“The response from staff and guests to our anniversary has been heartwarming”, says Mr Eric Hallin, general manager. “Many of our guests consider the Rembrandt as their second home, having made multiple visits to the hotel and its internationally recognized restaurants during the past 20 years. The Rembrandt’s Mexicano and Rang Mahal restaurants have been recognized in the prestigious Thai Tatler’s Best Restaurants 2016 list. The Rembrandt was awarded ‘2015 Best of +VIP Access Hotel’ award from Expedia.com as well as ‘Best Hotel – Far East & Africa 2015’ from Virgin Holidays UK, and an ‘Outstanding Performance 2015’ from global reservation network provider, Ctrip.com. Recently the hotel was awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor based on positive guest feedback during the past year.
