Rejuvenating spa escapes at Mandarin Oriental, Macau

HONG KONG – The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Macau invites guests to experience the ultimate in rejuvenation and wellness with two specially designed programmes, Ultimate Spa Escape and Spa Premier Escape. Guests can retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life with an indulgent spa break that includes luxury accommodation, or treat themselves to a day at The Spa with premium ferry rides and delectable afternoon tea as part of the day of relaxation.
 
The Ultimate Spa Escape package includes:
 
-One night’s accommodation in a luxurious guestroom or suite
-Buffet breakfast for two at Vida Rica Restaurant 
-A two-hour signature treatment for two at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Macau
-Complimentary 30-minute indulgence in a private spa suite equipped with an aromatic steam room and a vitality pool  
-Two sets of Mandarin Oriental signature fragrance oil 
 
The day spa package, Spa Premier Escape includes:
 
-An 80-minute treatment at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Macau
-Mandarin Oriental signature fragrance oil  
-Round-trip TurboJET Premium Grand Class ferry tickets between Hong Kong and Macau
-Mandarin Oriental signature afternoon tea set at Lobby Lounge
 
Two specially developed treatments celebrating Macau’s unique cultural mix, Macanese Dragon Experience and Spices of Portugal, are recommended for a two-hour spa journey. The former centres on a relaxing Chinese lymphatic body massage with Chinese meditation balls “Bao Ding”, whilst the latter highlights an exotic Portuguese spice infusion for a soothing head massage, followed by a hot stone full body massage using essential oils of ginger, black pepper and rosemary.
   
For the 80-minute spa therapies, guests can enjoy Mandarin Oriental’s signature Oriental Essence, which utilises Quintessence oil blended with ginger, mandarin and frankincense to relieve stress, particularly of the neck and shoulders. Other indulgence includes a Swedish body massage and specialised facials such as Age Repair and Time Reversal.
 
Both packages are valid until 29 December 2014. A six-day advance booking is required and blackout dates apply. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and 5% government tourism tax.
